Ethnobotanical

 Country of Origin: South America

 (Tea) Known as the 'Tea Plant' of commerce, this variety has small white nodding flowers in Autumn and 6 - 8 cm rather corrugated leaves. A second form grows larger, and has larger leaves.

  (Turkish Hazel) Cone shaped tree, with oval shaped, shallowly lobed, dark green leaves, which turn yellow in Autumn.  Produces edible nuts, enclosed in deeply fluffy shells, nuts ripen in Autumn.  Height 6 meters – 5 metres wide.
