Magnolia

magnolie x brozzoniFlowers mostly white, but rose colour extends up the veins of the 6 tepals. Flowers reach about 10 in. (25.4cm) across. Named in honor of Camillo Brozzoni, Brescia, italy, in 1873.

Deciduous magnolia,Frost hardy and will grow to be an attractive upright and spreading small tree.Its dark purplish pink and white flowers are fragrant, large and goblet shaped, and will open in late Winter/ early Spring.5m tall by 1.5m wide after 10 years..

Magnoila x Lennei AblaFlowers large, white, goblet-shaped. Named by frobel,switzerland,ca.3-5m tall and 3-5m wide.Full to part sun.Deciduous broad leaf.It produces medium large, fragrant flowers of creamy-white colour from the first warm days of April.

Magnoila Lennei Saucer

Full sun to part shade.Clay loam,sand soil, moist but well drained soil.15-20ft tall and 4-6m wide.Goblet shaped flowers deep rose-purple outside, pure white inside.Blooms aprear before leaves.

Magnoila x PictureA stunning variety featuring tulip-shaped flowers in deep lavender-red, with inner tones of white flushed lavender. A superb deciduous shrub which will reach approximately 4 metres in height. Flowers are produced whilst the plant is relatively young.

Magnolia Rustica RubraFlowers deeper red than those of 'Lennei' Small and globose. Vigorous grower. Often used as root stock.

Magnoila x Sweetheart

5-8m tall,4 metres wide.Deciduous.Upright habit.Full sun to part shade, a position protected from strong winds is best.Best in a humus rich well drained. Water logged or heavy clay soils are not suitable.Frost tolerant – Regarded as moderate once established.

This Gresham hybrid's flowers are similar to those of Magnolia campbellii, 10-12 in.(25.4-30.5cm) across with 9-12 teplas. The white flowers have a slight pink tinge at the base of the tepals. Named in 1984 by Ken durio of louisiana nursery, Opelousas, Louisiana, in honour of his daughter.
