Description
beautiful perfumed evergreen Clematis , its fragrant bells appear late in winter and hang in profusion creamy white to palest yellow ... I find it quite vigorous and with some pruning after flowering would go on pleasing lower down where we can better enjoy this classy species .... It has shown no effects from a - 4 c last winter and I think would benefit from some afternoon shade but don't overdo it unless your in hotter dryer areas ... I have a little more learning to be able to totally understand its quirks but have been amazed how strongly and cleanly more importantly it grows ... Clematis fasciculiflora hails from southern China ... Family: Ranunculaceae
