Decorative, deciduous tree producing edible fruits which can be eaten while firm
FEATURES: Highly ornamental deciduous tree growing to around 5m tall. From late February to May, non-astringent fruits are produced, which can be eaten while firm.
CONDITIONS: Suited to subtropical and temperate climates in deep, rich, fertile, well drained soils in full sun. A sheltered position is best.
FOR BEST RESULTS: Water well until established. Plant so that the bud union is at least 10cm above soil level. Fertilise annually in late Winter to early Spring.
