Vossii is a superior cultivar that produces pea-like yellow flowers , in drooping racemes up to 20-40 cm long in a profuse and spectacular golden waterfall of late spring blooms ... It reaches 7-10 metres tall potentially , and much less if clipped as a shrub or arbour trellis ... Trifoliate, clover-like , mid green leaves ( to 3” long ) a little yellow autumn color at best ... Often trained over an arbour as you would a wisteria ( strict pruning maintenance required ) , the affect is superb with a mass of hanging bright gold blossoms ... Vossii produces fewer seed pods that its parents ... All parts of this tree are noted to be poisonous.
