Description
This is a truly elegant magnolia with pure white mid size blooms perhaps 4-5”. The perfume is really engaging and has a slightly citrus note.
Foliage is distinct of other evergreen Michelia ( magnolia ) species varieties . Grafted plants in photos flower heavily at a young age and will give a mass floral display in late winter from late July here for many weeks.
The flowers tepals are narrow compared to many other species. Foliage of this evergreen small tree , thin and leathery, 6–14.5 cm × 1–4.5 cm, narrowly elliptic to ovate or lanceolate, upper surface dark green and glossy.

Endemic Myanmar , China ; Guangxi, Guizhou, Hubei, Jiangxi, Sichuan, Yunnan also Laos, Thailand & Vietnam.
